A: BASIS Development Tools are not Open Source. However, the DVK license for a developer is for free.
Q: What's the cost of BBj and Barista?
A: BBj and Barista are provided under a runtime license agreement. This means that you can develop your projects at no initial cost. However, as soon as you sell the result of your work, you will have to ship runtime licenses of BBj and - if you used it in your project - Barista. BBj Runtime licenses start from 141 EUR per concurrent user. Volume discounts and discounts for VARs and ISVs are available.
